Hey You! Yes You! Listen to Jordan Peterson!

It seems people think I am a little intense when it comes to my writing. But I don’t think people realize that it comes from a place of caring and passion. It is not anger. It is passion. I care about my fellow man, I do, and I want you to care about you too! I don’t think it is much to ask for someone to care about themselves.

I wasn’t always like this, and I used to be a very weak man both mentally and physically. I was a beta male. I was, and I admit it. But I got myself together. I picked myself up by my bootstraps, and I fixed my mindset, and I haven’t looked back since.

One of the main ways I was able to pick myself up was by listening to an incredible man who cared just as much about his audience as he did for him. If anything, he seemed to care more about his audience than himself at times.

Who might I be talking about? Well, it is none other than Jordan B. Peterson. The man, the myth, the legend himself.

If you don’t know who Jordan Peterson is because you’ve been living under a rock, let me give you a brief rundown. Jordan Peterson is a clinical psychiatrist who used to work at the University of Toronto and now has a successful podcast series and two bestsellers under his belt. Nothing is stopping this man. From haters to protesters and everything in between, nothing stops this man, and may I add, he is one of the most based men I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to.

Many of his lectures are available for free on youtube, and his podcast episodes are also there where he talks to some of the most interest people. My personal favorite is when he talks to Yeomi Park, who is a North Korean defector. Just an incredible story. He has some of the most amazing people on his show, and it makes you feel like you can do everything after that.

Peterson makes you feel like you are heard and that there isn’t anything wrong with you. He’s gotten so much hate for having a large male following, but he’s one of the only people in the media who is telling us, men, that it is perfectly fine to be a man to accept the calling we have to make a family and protect our families and to go after what we want. He is the only person who is telling men not to be passive in society but to be aggressive, and that aggression in men is good if we can control it. He tells men that it’s good to be strong.

And I don’t know about you, but at college I’m tired of being told I’m the bad guy for something I didn’t do or can’t control. Peterson gives me that escapism, and when I feel like I can’t go on anymore, he tells me to hold on for the ride and pulls me out of my ditch.

If you have not listened to Peterson, especially if you are a man, I highly recommend checking him out. You can find him on all social media, primarily on Youtube, and you can get his two books wherever books are sold. You won’t regret it. Take charge of your life, don’t be a side character in your life anymore.

Don’t listen to the slander online you’ve heard about him. It really is just that ridiculous slander. You really won’t regret it. I promise you.

As Peterson says, take aim even badly.

Get back on your feet and take on life. We don’t live for long so we might as well make the best of it.
